Welcome to B & S Analytik GmbH

A puff of breath, medical diagnosis via breath analysis - a vision becomes reality. Only 10 mL of breath may indicate diseases like cancer, bacterial colonisation or the effects of medication. B & S Analytik introduces a breath analyser which obtains detailed information about human metabolites from 10 mL exhaled breath only within few minutes

Using BioScout or BreathDiscovery so called IMS-Chromatograms are obained and the signals (peaks) could be related to different metabolites or analytes. The position in the drift time (mobility) and retention time scale delivers the analyte, the volume of the signal could be used to find the concentration.

Data analysis procedures delivers e.g. rank sums, sensitivity, specificity, Box-and-Wisker, decition trees and ROC-curves.
