A common project concerning the development of a rapid test for pathogens on the basis of ultra-trace detection starts on April 1, 2011. Partner within the project are KIST Europe Saarbrücken, the department Instrumental Analytical Chemistry of the Faculty of Chemistry of the University Duisburg-Essen, Schumann Analytische Messtechnik and the Centre for Anaesthesiology, Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine of the Georg-August-University Göttingen. The project is supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology on the basis of a decision by the German Bundestag.
